I have just uploaded a new -current to the web site. I believe this version
to work correctly and I would appreciate if you could put it through its
paces.
Main changes from last version: the time-out problems are corrected and the
Location header is modified if the response is a Redirect (the contents are
Pound's protocol + the request Host + the actual path).
I'd like to hope that this is close to 1.5 and in any case it is
feature-frozen. Please let me know if you come across some show-stoppers -
otherwise we look at 1.5 being released next week.
Have fun.[...]

Thanks, works now as expected ;)

I have those message appearing on every request after the
timeout specified with "Client":
<local5.warn> proxy pound: callback select timeout
This seems only to occur with HTTP/1.1, probably something
related to keepalive.

Good to hear.

Not keepalive, but normal operations (if an HTTP/1.1 client doesn't close its
connection when it needs nothing else, the only way Pound will find out about
it is via a time-out). These messages will go away in the "official" release
- they are just instrumentation for a development version.[...]
