Hello! I'm new to the pound list and new to Linux in general. Is
there any step by step procedure for installing pound on Redhat
linux? I have been trying for the last several days and keep hitting
errors.

Hi,
You don't tell us much about the problems you get. On what RedHat release?
I have created pound rpms which install fine and even create the SSL certs
you may need. The binary is for RedHat 7.x. If you're using RH8.0 or 9,
just rebuild the src.rpm. It's here
