Resolving an inbound IP

I've got a pair of servers on which I'm running cold fusion. When a
user submits to our site, we generally capture the IP address of that
user for our records. Problem is that now that I'm running pound, that
IP address is showing up as the IP address of the firewall which pound
is installed on. So we're losing our statistical information in the
process. Is there a way for Pound to pass this information through?
Thanks

you have to do it (backend) serverside, for apache there is eg. mod_rpaf, the
IP is stored in the X-FOrwarded-For header of the http request.
