Anyone have Pound working on RedHat Enterprise?

I cannot get it to compile, complains that it cannot find "openssl/ssl.h":

[root(at)hojiblanca Pound-current]# find /usr -name "ssl.h" -print
/usr/include/openssl/ssl.h

gcc -DF_CONF=\"/usr/local/etc/pound.cfg\" -g -O2 -DAEMON -I/usr/include
-Wstrict-prototypes -pipe -c -o pound.o pound.c
In file included from pound.c:172:
pound.h:175:2: #error "Pound needs openssl/ssl.h"
In file included from pound.c:172:
pound.h:338: syntax error before "SSL_CTX"
pound.h:338: warning: no semicolon at end of struct or union
pound.h:339: warning: data definition has no type or storage class
pound.h:443: syntax error before '*' token
pound.h:443: warning: function declaration isn't a prototype
pound.c: In function `verify_cert':

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks!
Rob

I'm still waiting for a success report from a RedHat Enterprise user who
uses my rpms of pound. You can try to rebuild this
