pound and kupu

I am trying to use the wysiwyg editor kupu in my zope/silva which is 
running behind pound. Kupu writes the data back to zope with a PUT. When 
I save in kupu, I get a 501 response from pound. Is there any special 
configuration necessary in pound to support PUT ?
