A few people have privately inquired about this, so here is the official
answer: we do not use the mailing list addresses for anything other then the
mailing list. We do not give them away, sell them or use them otherwise, and
we never used the mailing list for commercial advertising. This mailing list
is offered strictly as a support forum for Pound.
For your information: Apsis is a Swiss company and operates under Swiss law.
Switzerland has a very strict privacy law (similar to, but in some respects
stronger than the EU directive: just ask our bankers), which would make it a
Federal crime for us to misuse the mailing list addresses in any way.[...]

Hello ,
I think you forgot to notice that the list is public. So any e-mail
that appears in it can be collected by spammers. At least
theoretically.

so what's the difference to other lists? you can see the e-mail address in
most mailing lists.
