yeah, probably, but there is no way to protect the members of that list.
perhaps it's possiblet o hide the mail addresses in configuration of the
mailing list. but anybody here know that the addresses are shown in each
mail, so it's the decision of everybody to use that list or not.

Hello ,
And more, I think the topic presumes that participating people can
even have a dedicate mailbox for the list :) .
Personally, I have a mail domain and I use different e-mails in each
new place. Each e-mail address usually has a hint about that place.
E.g. if I register on Tiny Computers site I use tiny.com(at)merdin.com.
So that's why I definitely know they were selling their e-mail
database. :)
