graphics with zope and pound

hi,

i have a problem with pound, zope and some browsers.

sometimes the browser run endless to get a full webpage, the things are
missing are the pictures all the time. if the cache of the browsers are
deleted, the page can be loaded. i dumped the traffic between the browsers
and pound. while getting the information my packetdump shows a few packets
but there is no entry in the log of pound.

i don't know if that is a pound/zope/browser problem but i think it's not
the browser because i have the problem with IE, firefox and mozilla. so it
has to be a problem of pound or zope. perhaps anybody knows something
about that?

regards

claus

I run a similar setup, but have not seen the problem you report. I
suspect it may be with the particular page you are trying to load.
It would be helpful to know the OS, the version of Pound, and the
version of Zope.

ok, here are the versions:

zope : 2.7.0
os : debian sarge
python: 2.3.4-5
pound: 1.7

could be a problem of zope, i have read something about dropping
connections with transparent gifs, but that was only with internet
explorer and i have the same problem with mozilla sometimes.

i tested more situations now, one was without pound. as i connected
directly to zope there wasn't a problem. perhaps i misconfigured my pound
instance?

here is the configuration file of pound

I had the same problem months ago... when I put Pound 1.7 on SuSE 8.2...
no one had any answers...

I returned to Red Hat AS 2.1 (Red Hat 7.2-based), and the problems
disappeared.

Hopefully, a clue in the mystery.
