hello,
situation: there is a pound proxy on a company lan; there is also
a webserver, pound gets HTTPS requests, and forwards to the
webserver. (webserver gets http request, not https! but, in
access.log contains https url's)
this works good, when i try to use from lan (with a graphical
browser, ie. firefox)
there is more complex company firewall, what is an apllication
gateway - it looks all protocoll and requests, what comes from
internet.
the ip of intranet website is a public address in public dns,
users could browse the intranet server through firewall, and
pound.
when somebody comes from internet, not form lan, the connection
is _very_very_ slow: a few minutes, when site downloaded...
but - this is just when user has graphical browser; when somebody
uses lynx, the site comes perfectly (from internet, too)
(i think so, lynx uses http/1.0, but graphical browsers use
http/1.1)
what may be the problem?
thank you:
airween
