Slow download connection though pound

Hi everyone,

I recently installed pound on my firewalls to proxy SSL to a few internal
servers. My problem is when I upload to the servers from my web app through
pound everything looks good, when I download I only get 3 Mbps through. To
eliminate my web app and my network as possible faults (firewalls included)
I connected the web app to the server directly with SSL, upload and download
both performed properly. So jus to reiterate, through pound my uploads are
fine but down loads from server are slow.

The process load on the pound system is only 4%, and the network looks
normal.

Server(no SSL) <----> firewall(pound) <----> Web app(SSL) Works on
upload
but slow on download

Server (SSL) <----> firewall(no pound) <----> Web app (SSL) Works
great both
ways.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Reid

Depending on your setup you could try playing with the Server and Client
values - it may just have something to do with Pound waiting for a timeout.

Please make sure you run with the latest -current, as earlier versions had
some issues in this area.[...]
