Unless there are some issues I missed we'd like to officially release
Pound 1.9 by next week (pretty much 1.8.5, but we'll probably change
CRLlist to VerifyList for the sake of clarity).
Your feedback is most welcome.[...]

I like the idea of that change, since that file contains more then CRLs. Also,
I would recommend moving the "verify_depth" option from CAlist to your new
VerifyList since the CAlist option is no longer directly related to
verification. Also, the documentation needs updating with respect to these two
options.
----------------------------------------
CAlist CAcert_file
Set the list of "trusted" CA's for this server. The CAcert_file is a file
containing a sequence of CA certificates (PEM format). The names of the defined
CA certificates will be sent to the client on connection.
VerifyList Verify_file Verify_depth
Set the list of CRL's (Certificate Revocation Lists) and CA's to verify
against. The Verify_file is a file that contains a sequence of CRL's and CA's
(both in PEM format). Verify_depth is the depth of verification for a client
certificate (up to 9). A value of 0 (the default) implies no verification at
all.
----------------------------------------
Thanks for all your work on Pound.
John D.

I have no constructive feedback, but I do feel compelled to thank everyone
involved in this project. It is an awesome piece of software, and we are
happily using it in a production environment with zero issues to date.
Keep up the good work!
