This is to announce the release of Pound v1.9.1. This is primarily a
bug-fix interim release.
Changes in this version:
- fixed a serious problem with the polling code: it would mistakenly
identify a (read) HUP condition as a "can't write". This may have caused
strange failures with various clients, including some SOAP clients and
possibly some versions of IE. This may also have caused issues with
failed downloads with IE. Many thanks to Gaetan OFFREDO for identifying
the problem.
The software is at version 1.9.1 (beta quality). Further testing
(especially under heavy loads), improvements and suggestions are
welcome.[...]
