I just notice that compile Pound 1.9.3 without deamon mode doesn't work.
Previous version works fine, this one not. Somethink change ? This make
problems with set pound working under daemontools.

This change was announced on this list when version 1.9.2 was released:

- added a NoDaemon configuration directive. This replaces the existing
--disable-daemon flag for the autoconf script and allows you to decide
if you want Pound to run as a daemon or not at runtime.
