Hi ,all:
I now use pound as a SSL PROXY running on Redhat 9.0 with a linux 2.4
kernal ,but I find it has a poor performance ,and can only handle 500 users
cocurrent access.
I think maybe it is caused by the multithreating limitation of Pthreat lib
,but I have no ideal to improve it .
so anyone know with platform will make pound get a better performance ?
how about the difference between linux2.4 /linux2.6
kernel/Freebsd/netbsd,even Solaris 10 for X86 ,my hardware platform is Dual
Xeon 2.4G /1G RAM/80G HD

    thanks and best regards
        eric dai
