Hi!
I'm about to setup a server with pound inside a virtual machine
powered by Xen, the open-source para-virtualizing virtual machine
monitor for security and high-availability (live migration, etc..).
I need to make sure this is stable because I'm going to put this in a
production, mission-critical environment. Of course, I have a
pre-production server where I'll test everything I can. I also have a
plan B just in case.
I need to know your though on that. Does someone had problem with
xen|vmware + pound? Any problem on a 64bits system (Opteron 244)?
Does Pound use the TLS library (it must NOT!). The following listing
indicate me that Pound does not use the TLS libs but I prefer to
double-check.
# ldd pound
libssl.so.0.9.7 => /usr/lib/i686/cmov/libssl.so.0.9.7 (0x4001c000)
libcrypto.so.0.9.7 => /usr/lib/i686/cmov/libcrypto.so.0.9.7
(0x4004d000)
libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x4014d000)
libpthread.so.0 => /lib/libpthread.so.0 (0x40150000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x401a1000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)
I'd like to thanks the Pound author and contributors for this great
software and I hope to contribute some times in the near future.
