Hello,

I just upgraded my 2.0.3 install, which had been working well for several
months, to what I hoped would be the latest and greatest. Unfortunately, it
wasnt the greatest for me - my site was hardly reachable afterwards, pages only
loaded halfway etc. No errors in the log.

Luckily I had a packup from the previous install.

any clues what went wrong?

Please check the list archives. There is a known issue with 2.1.2 which
has been discussed on the list.

would you mind being a little more precise? I looked at the archives before
upgrading, and did so again just now. I did not find any indication that 2.1.2
was not usable, or only usable under certain circumstances.

ok, thanks. If I read that right, then the current 2.1.2 release, as advertised
on the pound home page, is broken (the exception being the patched rpms you
provide). Shouldnt something be undertaken to prevent more people from running
into this?
