It would be very nice to have the pound service back-end being
able to report extended status info through the control socket,
so that it could be retrieved using poundctl or a custom program.
Extended status info that would be very nice to have is

* Total number of handled connections per listener and back-end
* Active/inactive connection gauge per listener and back-end
* Connection rate per listener and back-end
* Throughput (bytes/sec) per listener and back-end
* Error count per listener and back-end
* Error rate per listener and back-end

With such info it would be a breeze to create mrtg graphs of
the traffic patterns, and it would let you observe trends
and errors that can help you fix problems before they become
critical.

It has my vote, at least :)
