Pound 2.3.2 and libhoard 3.7 - memory leak?

Hi all,
I just made some tests with pound 2.3.2 and libhoard 3.7 and I'm facing
some strange problems. When I run pound in that combination memory
consumption of pound is growing constantly. I made some tests with ab
(apache benchmark) and found out that after 300,000 requests the memory
consumption of the pound process rises up to 90%. At that point the
machine starts swaping. When I compile pound without libhoard I don't
face that behaviour. Has anybody else on the list similar problems?

Btw. it seems that libhoard has no positiv effect except that load is
slightly lower (45%-50% cpu without libhoard vs. 40%-45% with libhoard).

You may have a buggy libhoard. On other systems it seems to help.

In any case you may try using the google memory allocator (gperf
toolkit) instead - it also works quite well.[...]
