We are having a very intermitent problem here, that we can reproduce only from 
time to time with Firefox runnning on PPC MacOS X.

Symptoms are as follow :
- browser gets /
- server reply with a "302 Found" message and a location header
- browser gets the next page sometimes immediately, sometimes after a few 
seconds. Sometimes, the browser simply times out.

We have been doing some tests, and found out that the problem never occurs when

the servers only send HTTP headers (thus no HTML after the headers). In those 
circumstances, the HTTP headers does not include a "Transfer-Encoding: 
chunked".

Pound 2.4d seem to somewhat ease the situation compared to 2.3.2 (problem 
occurs less often), but does not fix it.

Do those symptoms ring a bell to anyone in the mailing list ?
