I'm trying to test Pound. I'm having a problem to which FAQ 3.3 
seems to apply:

    3.3 What happens when my server replies with a redirect?

The answer describes the "conditions" which
"must be met", and I am stumbling on this one:

    Pound has "Check30x 1"

What does that mean? This doesn't appear to refer to a directive in
the configuration file, or a compile-time configurable option. In
fact, Googling for "Check30x" only gives you (a) the Pound FAQ; (b) a
couple of government job application documents in Word. In the source
code distribution, I can only find "Check30x" in the FAQ file, and
nowhere else.

Can anyone provide illumination here? Apologies if I'm missing something
obvious.

I think this option must be from an older release of pound - I have 
never used it and I started using pound w/ version 2.2 or so.

answer for FAQ 3.3? (I'd guess, but I wouldn't be confident in my
guess.)
