I was trying to pull down the latest version of Pound (2.6c) and I 
wasn't able to run configure, as it was complaining about "Missing 
OpenSSL (-lcrypto) - aborted".  I was able to build version 2.6a without 
a problem on the same machine.  I checked the configure file, and it 
looks like a new option was added for gcc "-Wno-unused-result" on line 
3235.  I'm guessing my version of gcc, can anybody shed any light on this?

We're running CentOS 5.5, 2.6.18-194.32.1.el5 with gcc.x86_64 4.1.2-48.el5.
